A 35-year-old man has pleaded guilty to threatening to "kill Jewish schoolchildren" during an incident in east London.
Mohamed Ullah, of Hackney, admitted making the threat to Avani Hari on February 13, stating that he would "decapitate" Jewish children. Appearing at Wood Green Crown Court, Ullah pleaded guilty to making threats to kill and to racially aggravated harassment.
He also admitted to damaging a water dispenser and causing flooding at Homerton Hospital in Hackney on the same day.
Although Ullah initially admitted the offences on June 5, a reporting restriction was imposed because he denied three assault charges stemming from the same incident.
The restriction was lifted on Friday after Ullah pleaded guilty to assaulting Janet Chukwu. Prosecutors subsequently withdrew the remaining two assault charges.
Judge Daniel Fugallo directed the probation service to carry out a dangerousness assessment before Ullah's sentencing, which is scheduled for August 5.
During Friday's hearing, defence barrister Tom Kharran said that Ullah had been about to be discharged from a mental health institution at the time of the offences and had since been assessed as fit to enter a plea.
