The United Kingdom's Scouts Association has launched an investigation into the UK Muslim Scout Fellowship (MSF) after allegations of antisemitic conduct were raised, the organization confirmed to The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday.
The issue was brought forward by the Henry Jackson Society (HJS), which alleged that children participating in activities organized by the Muslim branch of The Scout Association were encouraged to create "Paint for Gaza" artwork that included the controversial slogan, "From the river to the sea." According to HJS, it formally submitted its concerns to The Scouts Association, which subsequently confirmed that an investigation had been initiated.
Responding to an inquiry from The Jerusalem Post, The Scouts Association acknowledged receiving the complaint and stated that it "takes the concerns raised very seriously." The organization added that it has "a robust process in place to ensure that matters of this nature are investigated thoroughly, impartially and fairly," emphasizing its commitment to conducting a fair and comprehensive review of the allegations.
