According to a survey, the majority of people believe that Modiji will return to Red Fort next year

A recent study conducted by Pollsters India, a well-known company specializing in tracking public opinion, highlights the discrepancy between actual events and people's perceptions within the realm of Indian politics. The study, named "From Parliament to Red Fort," discloses that an immense majority of participants are of the belief that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will once again address the nation from the Red Fort during his 11th Independence Day speech on August 15, 2024.

In contrast, the opposing political factions seem to be struggling in terms of public perception, both within the Parliament and at the Red Fort ceremony. As the clock ticks down to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections scheduled for May of the upcoming year, which is a mere eight months away, the alliance led by the Congress party encounters a substantial hurdle in trying to catch up with the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) led by the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party).

Well it is very obvious to believe that Modiji will definitely return to Red Fort next year. Because Modiji has done many changes in this country which is a turning stone to develop the country and yes the country is developing. In this survey which was conducted by Pollsters India, 54% of the participants were of the opinion that he would definitely make a comeback, whereas 37% thought that the upcoming elections would be a tightly contested event. Changes in the political landscape of the country have occurred as opposition votes align within the recently established I.N.D.I.A. coalition.

The possibility of the BJP winning another term hinges on its outcomes in the northern and western parts of India. These regions collectively hold 258 out of the 543 Lok Sabha seats. In the last election, the NDA managed to secure 220 seats in these areas. Importantly, Maharashtra continues to be a pivotal arena, given the shift of several members from the MVA to the NDA, countering the effects of the Shiv Sena joining the opposition alliance. Due to the nature of the electoral contest, it is of utmost importance for the Congress party to reclaim dominance over the overarching narrative of the nation.

However, this task appears to be quite formidable, especially considering the choice made by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to abstain from participating in the Independence Day festivities at the Red Fort. While Kharge spearheaded the Congress's own celebratory event at the party's central headquarters, his nonattendance at the national occasion was unfavorably received by 55% of the surveyed individuals, whereas 36% indicated that it held minor significance.

Moreover, Kharge did not manage to secure robust endorsement from the regions of East and Southern India, areas where the INC traditionally garners more substantial support. While the clock ticks towards the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, both the governing alliance led by the BJP and the opposition encounter distinct obstacles as they strive to influence public opinion and ensure electoral success within a multifaceted and ever-changing political environment.
