Police in London, Ontario, have charged a 19-year-old man from Toronto in connection with an alleged plot involving a hit list and explicit death threats directed at individuals associated with King’s University College.

According to a statement released by the London Police Service, the arrest followed an investigation initiated after authorities received a complaint on December 15, 2025. As a result of the probe, police arrested Safeeullah Aslami, a 19-year-old Toronto resident, and charged him with three counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

Police allege that the incident occurred on Sunday, December 14, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., inside a common area of a university residence building on Epworth Avenue in London. At the time, several other residents were present in the area. During this period, the accused is alleged to have compiled a written list containing the names of adult men and openly told at least one individual nearby that the list represented people he intended to kill.

Investigators further state that while seated in the common space, the suspect allegedly made direct threats against two specific individuals whose names appeared on the list. The nature of the comments raised serious safety concerns, prompting the report to police and the subsequent investigation that led to the arrest and charges.
