US retail giant Walmart has reportedly removed at least four shirts from its online store that depicted slain terror leaders Yahya Sinwar and Hassan Nasrallah, following backlash from an antisemitism watchdog that described the items as “outrageous.”

One of the shirts displayed a portrait of former Hamas leader Sinwar, with his name split into the words “Sin” and “War.” Another featured a doctored image of him in combat gear firing a weapon.

Sinwar, who led the Hamas terror group in Gaza from 2017 until his death in October 2023, was killed by Israeli forces during a military operation in the Gaza Strip. He was behind the October 7, 2023, attack in southern Israel, where Hamas-led terrorists killed approximately 1,200 people and kidnapped 251, sparking the ongoing war in Gaza.

The shirts were flagged by the US-based organization Stop Antisemitism, which posted on X early Tuesday: “Walmart shoppers were horrified to find shirts glorifying Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar while online shopping.” The group also urged Walmart to remove the items, accusing the retailer of promoting “terrorism and violence against Jews.”

Another shirt featuring Sinwar bore the word “RESIST” styled after former US president Barack Obama’s iconic “HOPE” campaign image. This item also appears to have been removed between Tuesday and Wednesday, although traces of the listing still surfaced in online searches.

Additionally, a shirt displaying a low-resolution image of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut, was also taken down by Wednesday morning.
