Israel was targeted by ballistic missiles, and the attack was met with enthusiastic celebrations in several areas of Berlin.

Dozens of individuals opposing Israel gathered in the capital to show support for the Iranian regime, which, according to the Jerusalem Post, had fired 181 missiles.

In Berlin’s Wedding district, crowds chanted slogans like "Resistance" and "Allahu Akbar" (God is great). One man shouted, "Rockets fired at Israel," which was followed by cheering, drumming, and clapping by several attendees.

Videos show participants waving Palestinian scarves, along with Palestinian and Lebanese flags.

A Berlin police spokesperson said they could "neither confirm nor deny" the reports of cheering.

Later in the evening, a pro-Palestinian demonstration also took place at Kottbusser Tor in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin. The police did not immediately release a statement regarding any of these events. Iran claimed the missile barrage, involving over 100 projectiles, was in response to Israel’s air force killing Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. According to Israel, the missiles struck several cities, including Tel Aviv.

Israel’s military spokesperson announced "powerful attacks in the Middle East" planned for the night, though it remains unclear if this also referred to Iran. He added, "Today's events will have consequences."
