A disturbing incident in Rome has come to light, where a man was overpowered and forced to witness a brutal assault on his 18-year-old fiancée by a group of migrants who had violently rammed their vehicle. According to the Rome police, the couple had driven to a secluded area of Tor Tre Teste—a quiet park in the eastern outskirts of the capital—seeking privacy. Within minutes, their solitude was shattered as a group of men surrounded their car and launched an attack.
Investigators say the assailants smashed the car window, immediately dragging the 24-year-old man outside. As his fiancée attempted to shield herself with a piece of clothing, she too was forcibly pulled from the vehicle. The victim’s partner later recounted that he was immobilised by two of the attackers, unable to intervene as his fiancée was taken a short distance away and assaulted.
Throughout the ordeal, the man cried out for help, pleaded with the attackers to stop, and even threatened retaliation, but his efforts were futile against the group restraining him. After the assault, the perpetrators fled into the darkness, leaving the traumatised couple behind.
Both victims, who are Italian nationals, immediately contacted the authorities and filed a formal complaint. Police officers who responded to the scene described the pair as deeply shaken and disoriented. Preliminary findings suggest there may have been as many as five culprits involved in the attack.
Following an intensive investigation, officials have arrested three Moroccan nationals, who now face serious charges including gang rape and robbery. The search for any additional suspects continues as police work to piece together the full extent of the crime.
