Modiji’s visit to Assam during Bihu celebration

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Assam on 14th April to attend Bihu celebration. On 14th April the whole country will witness a historic moment where 11,000 boys and girls will participate in Bihu and Modiji will also witness it. PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the newly built AIIMS in Guwahati which is also the first AIIMS in North East. PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of an institute and alongwith attend the closing ceremony of Platinum Jubilee celebration of Gauhati High Court at Sankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati.

CM Himanta Biswa Sharma further confirmed that PM Modi will attend the programme at Sarusajai Stadium. He will inaugurate the newly installed Assam Petro Chemicals Limited 500 project TPD Methanol at Namrup, costing ₹ 1,709 crores. He will lay the foundation stone of another bridge connecting Palasbari-Sualkuchi on the Brahmaputra river, costing ₹ 3,170 crore. President Draupadi Murmu also visited Assam on Saturday and took a sortie in a Sukhoi 30 MKI fighter aircraft at Tezpur Air Force Station. The President was also briefed during her visit on the aircraft's operational capabilities and the Indian Air Force (IAF).
