Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of implementing a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) during his address to booth-level workers in Madhya Pradesh, a state preparing for elections. Despite heavy rains canceling some events in tribal districts, Modi engaged with 3,000 workers in Bhopal and over 10 lakh virtually. In his speech titled 'Mera Booth, Sabse Mazboot' (My Booth, Strongest of All), he highlighted that attempts to instigate divisions in the name of a UCC were concerning. Modi questioned how a household or country could function smoothly if different family members were subjected to different laws. He reminded the audience that the Indian Constitution emphasizes equal rights for all citizens.

The Prime Minister further criticized those who accuse his government, asserting that they are the ones responsible for creating divisions between Hindus and Muslims. He argued that if these individuals genuinely cared about the welfare of Muslims, there would be no education and employment disparities, and Muslim communities would not face hardships. Modi referred to the Supreme Court's call for a Uniform Civil Code and blamed politicians who prioritize vote bank politics for making life difficult for marginalized Muslim communities.
Modi's response was prompted by a question from Rani Chaurasiya, a booth worker from Uttar Pradesh, who sought guidance on dispelling misconceptions about triple talaq and the UCC within the Muslim community. Regarding triple talaq, the Prime Minister stated that those who support and advocate for it are causing significant injustice to Muslim daughters, and a deeper understanding of the issue is necessary.
