PM Modi believes that the INDIA bloc has a covert objective of undermining Sanatana Dharma

On Thursday, September 14th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a strong critique against the I.N.D.I Alliance, accusing them of attempting to obliterate Sanatana Dharma and regress the nation into a millennium-long era of subjugation. He labeled the opposition coalition as 'ghamandiya' or arrogant and claimed they harbored a concealed agenda to dismantle 'Sanatan Dharma,' which had served as a wellspring of inspiration for figures like Swami Vivekananda and Lokmanya Tilak. The Prime Minister expressed these sentiments while addressing a gathering in Bina, Madhya Pradesh, where he inaugurated the construction of a petrochemical complex valued at Rs 49,000 crore at BPCL's Bina Refinery.

This marked his initial public response to DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin's offensive remarks concerning Sanatana Dharma. Modi asserted that the opposition bloc had devised a covert strategy to undermine the nation's faith and cultural heritage, committing themselves to eradicate the customs and values that had fostered unity in Bharat for a millennium. He disclosed, "They recently convened a meeting in Mumbai, during which they formulated the political and strategic blueprint for their 'ghamandiya' alliance.

They also devised a concealed agenda aimed at assaulting India's culture, faith, and the thoughts, values, and traditions that have bound our country together for millennia." Modi intensified his criticism of the I.N.D.I Alliance by declaring their intention to extinguish the Sanatana culture and traditions, which had not only motivated Devi Ahilyabai Holkar to undertake social reforms and tirelessly champion women's empowerment across the nation but had also inspired Swami Vivekananda to educate the populace about societal injustices.

Furthermore, this culture had propelled Mahatma Gandhi's nonviolent principles, galvanized Lokmanya Tilak to spearhead the liberation struggle of 'Maa Bharati' from British rule, and provided strength to Rani of Jhansi, Lakshmibai, in confronting the British colonial forces. Modi emphasized that Mahatma Gandhi regarded Sanatana Dharma as integral to his life, drawing inspiration from Lord Ram, as evidenced by his final words, "hey Ram." The Prime Minister also contended that the freedom fighters who were executed by the British drew motivation from this culture, declaring their desire to be reborn in 'Bharat Mata' once more.

PM Modi concluded by asserting, "The 'ghamandiya' alliance has made a resolution to extinguish the Sanatana culture and traditions that served as a wellspring of inspiration for figures like Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. It was the robustness of Sanatana that enabled Rani of Jhansi, Lakshmibai, to challenge the British and vow not to surrender her Jhansi."
