Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed his Council of Ministers amidst widespread speculation of an upcoming Cabinet reshuffle. During the meeting, he discussed the path leading to 2047, which marks the centenary of India's Independence. He emphasized the importance of infrastructure development and its far-reaching impact. The gathering took place at the newly constructed convention center in Pragati Maidan, which was built in preparation for the upcoming G-20 meeting to be hosted under India's presidency.

Prime Minister Modi also delved into the key issues that will be presented to the international group during their meeting in New Delhi. A Minister who attended the meeting mentioned that Prime Minister Modi touched upon topics such as cryptocurrency regulation and public funding for digital infrastructure, both of which gained urgency during the pandemic-induced lockdowns between 2020 and 2022. Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra provided a presentation on the recent trips undertaken by Mr. Modi and the outcomes of those meetings.
Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi, speaking to the media after the extensive five-and-a-half-hour-long meeting, stated that the Prime Minister's speech covered a wide range of subjects, including road and space infrastructure. It is customary for Mr. Modi to hold a monthly meeting with his complete Council of Ministers, featuring presentations from various Ministries selected for that specific session.
