On the occasion of tribal icon Birsa Munda's birth anniversary in Jharkhand's Khunti district, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a Rs 24,000-crore initiative called the PM Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan. This project aims to ensure the effective delivery of welfare schemes and provide protection to Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). During a gathering in Khunti, Modi also inaugurated the Visksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a nationwide program aimed at reaching all villages and including eligible individuals in various central schemes.
Addressing the tribal community, Modi highlighted the need to focus on Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups, emphasizing their lack of proper housing and educational facilities in the past. He expressed his commitment to improving their lives and mentioned that previous governments had only included them in data, whereas he intends to make a tangible impact.

On the third 'Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas,' PM Modi visited Birsa Munda's family in Ulihatu village and paid homage to Birsa Munda's statue in Ranchi. During the event, Modi pledged to make India self-reliant and developed by 2047, urging the nation to take pride in its rich heritage and strengthen unity. He emphasized the importance of empowering women, farmers, youth, the middle class, and the poor as the four pillars of the nation.
Additionally, Modi announced the release of Rs 18,000 crore as the 15th installment of the PM Kisan scheme, benefiting over 8 crore farmers nationwide. He highlighted that Jharkhand has received schemes worth Rs 50,000 crore and achieved 100% rail electrification, making it the first state in the country to do so. Modi acknowledged the significant contribution of tribals to the nation and stated that during the BJP government's two tenures, 13 crore people have emerged from poverty. He emphasized the government's commitment to serving the deprived and giving importance to those who were previously marginalized.
