PM Modi prays at the Amba Temple in Banaskatha, Gujarat

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the renowned Ambaji temple in Ambaji town, located in Gujarat's Banaskantha district. This visit was part of his two-day trip to the state, which commenced on Monday. The Prime Minister began his journey by flying to Ahmedabad in the morning and then continued to Chikhla, a village near Ambaji, via helicopter. As the Prime Minister's motorcade approached the temple town of Ambaji, a large crowd had gathered along both sides of the road to catch a glimpse of him. Prime Minister Modi participated in a prayer ceremony at the temple, following a warm welcome from local leaders and clergy.

After his visit to Ambaji, Prime Minister Modi proceeded to Dabhoda village in Kheralu taluka of Mehsana. There, he presided over a public event where he inaugurated a range of development projects valued at ₹5,950 crore and addressed a gathering. These projects span various government departments, including the Indian Railways, Gujarat Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation (GRIDE), state water resource and water supply departments, roads and buildings, as well as the urban development departments. The official government statement revealed that the 16 development initiatives unveiled by Prime Minister Modi encompass districts such as Mehsana, Ahmedabad, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Mahisagar, Gandhinagar, and Patan.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to take part in the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas program in Kevadiya, Narmada district, marking the birth anniversary of India's first Home Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
