On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed that India has undergone a significant transformation from a nation with a deficit of trust to one that now enjoys a surplus of trust. This positive shift is evident in the increasing self-confidence exhibited by its people in their endeavors and initiatives. He made these remarks during an event in Pune where he was honored with the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak National Award for his service to the nation.
PM Modi expressed his deep appreciation for receiving an award named after Lokmanya Tilak, a prominent figure in India's struggle for freedom. He further announced his decision to donate the prize money of ₹1 lakh to the Namami Gange project, showcasing his commitment to the cause.

He highlighted the significance of the collateral-free loans provided under the Mudra Yojana, considering them as a testament to the trust placed in the hard work and integrity of the Indian populace.
PM Modi pointed out that the abundance of trust has resulted in the success of various national campaigns like Swachta Abhiyan and Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, which have evolved into powerful movements driven by the people.
Recalling the historical contributions of Lokmanya Tilak, he mentioned that even the British recognized him as the "Father of the Indian unrest," illustrating the profound impact of Tilak's ideas on India's struggle for independence. Mahatma Gandhi himself regarded him as the visionary behind modern India. In conclusion, PM Modi emphasized that these developments have created a positive atmosphere in the country, driving India towards progress and prosperity.
