Addressing the 'Vijay Sankalp Maharally' in Chhattisgarh's Kanker today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi articulated the BJP's commitment to strengthening the identity of Chhattisgarh and protecting the interests of the impoverished, tribal, and marginalized communities. He also emphasized the party's dedication to elevate Chhattisgarh's status among the top states in the country, adding that development remains elusive wherever the Congress is involved.
Reflecting on the last five years under Congress rule, PM Modi highlighted how the benefits of governance seemed to accrue exclusively to the children and relatives of Congress leaders, leaving the poor neglected. Furthermore, he criticized the Congress for obstructing the implementation of key developmental projects and social welfare schemes in Chhattisgarh.
PM Modi also underscored the BJP's focus on the well-being of the underprivileged, emphasizing the implementation of various schemes aimed at improving the lives of the impoverished. He particularly emphasized the BJP government's efforts in establishing quality healthcare facilities under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, with several such facilities already operational in Chhattisgarh.

The Prime Minister further condemned the Congress for its discriminatory policies and actions against tribal communities, citing the opposition's objection to a decision to appoint a tribal candidate as the President. He also highlighted the BJP's efforts in addressing the demands of marginalized communities, such as the Mhara-Mahara and 12 other communities, by granting them Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe status respectively.
PM Modi also accused the Congress of misleading the public, pointing out discrepancies in their claims regarding various developmental initiatives. He further criticized the Congress for its failure to deliver on promises, citing instances of nepotism and corruption within the party.
Lastly, PM Modi expressed his confidence in the BJP's candidates in the upcoming elections, referring to them as the soldiers of the Lotus, symbolizing prosperity deeply embedded in Indian culture. He concluded by emphasizing the importance of votes in securing blessings for both the candidates and himself.
