Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a speech today to a massive gathering of BJP workers in Madhya Pradesh, which is gearing up for upcoming elections. This event took place on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, one of the co-founders of the Jana Sangh. The BJP organized this gathering, known as the 'Karyakarta Mahakumbh,' at Jamboree Maidan in Bhopal, marking the conclusion of its 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra.' The Prime Minister received a warm welcome from a crowd of 10 lakh people at this grand event, with chants of "Deendayal Upadhyaya amar rahein" setting the tone.
In his address, Prime Minister Modiji reached out to both party workers and first-time voters in the state, emphasizing that the younger generation in Madhya Pradesh has only witnessed the BJP's good governance and has not experienced the corruption, poor infrastructure, and power shortages that existed during the previous Congress government's tenure. He passionately stated that his commitment to the nation and its people supersedes everything else, affirming, "Modi ka mijaaz bhi alag hai, mehnat bhi alag hai aur mission bhi alag hai."

The Prime Minister also criticized the Congress, warning against the consequences of the party coming to power, especially mentioning the risk of Madhya Pradesh regressing into a "Bimaru" state and the future of its youth being jeopardized. He highlighted the Congress's diminishing relevance in the country, likening it to rusty iron that corrodes when exposed to rain. Modiji accused the Congress of glorifying one family, nurturing corruption, and opposing development projects, including digital India, UPI, and the bullet train.
Regarding the new Parliament building, Prime Minister Modiji mentioned that the BJP government's initiative received widespread acclaim, while the Congress has consistently opposed it, along with other achievements and projects in the country. He criticized the Congress for its treatment of the country's first tribal woman President, Droupadi Murmu, and accused the party of collaborating with Urban Naxals. Modiji asserted that the Congress has lost its direction and is outsourcing its leadership to urban Naxalites.
Taking a dig at dynasty politics, Prime Minister Modiji emphasized that Congress leaders, born into privilege, do not value the lives of the poor, treating their struggles as adventure tourism and exploiting their living conditions for photo opportunities. In contrast, he stated that the BJP government is showcasing the developed and grand face of the country to the world. The Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh are scheduled to take place later this year.
