He stated that this incident was an absolute shame for any civilized society, and it deeply saddened and pained every Indian, tarnishing the entire nation.

The Prime Minister made a heartfelt appeal to all the Chief Ministers across Indian states to strengthen the law and order situation in their respective regions and take resolute actions to ensure the safety of women. He emphasized that the safety of women and maintaining law and order should transcend political affiliations, and it is a collective responsibility.
PM Modi reassured the citizens that the perpetrators involved in such heinous acts would not escape justice. He emphasized that the law would be enforced with full force, and every criminal involved would be held accountable for their actions, regardless of their location or influence.
