Since coming to power in 2014, the government of India led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a number of schemes aimed at improving the lives of people across the country. These schemes, many of which are focused on specific communities and regions, are designed to address some of India's most pressing social and economic challenges, such as poverty, lack of access to healthcare, and lack of educational opportunities.

One of the most significant schemes launched by the Modi government is the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), which aims to provide financial inclusion to the unbanked and underserved segments of the population. Under this scheme, over 380 million bank accounts have been opened, and many people have been able to access financial services for the first time.

Another important scheme launched by the Modi government is the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), which aims to provide liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) connections to women from economically weaker sections of society. The scheme has been successful in reducing indoor air pollution and improving the health and well-being of women and children.

The government has also launched a number of healthcare initiatives aimed at improving access to quality healthcare for all. The Ayushman Bharat scheme, for example, provides health insurance to over 500 million people, covering hospitalization costs for a range of serious illnesses and conditions.

In addition to these schemes, the Modi government has also launched initiatives aimed at improving the educational opportunities for children, especially in rural areas. The Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, for example, aims to provide free and compulsory education to all children between the ages of 6 and 14, while the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan aims to improve the quality of secondary education across the country.
