Scotland’s Justice Secretary Humza Yousaf said in his parliament speech that he wants to clamp down hate speech on private homes. According to him, hate talk should be prosecuted in homes. He said that conversations over dinner tables should be litigated in order to stop hatred. He also said that the directors and journalists may also face courts if their work instigated hatred.
On one hand Mr. Yousaf is introducing a new law but on the other hand critics are condemning his new bill because it will stir-up hatred against people with protected features. But Mr. Yousaf wanted to protect children, family and guests from hate speech. He also takes example by saying we will not give authority to someone whose behaviour is threatening or abusive which will gear up hatred.

He also takes the example of Muslim. So this bill is kind of mixed opinion because on one side it might bring peace to the country but on the other side it might create hate which will be unseen. As Scotland’s law is different from our country so we should not give any strong opinion but we should only hope that the Justice Secretary should take those things in action which will bring peace to their country.
