A festival goer who attended an all-night music event in Israel, where Hamas terrorists launched a surprise attack, managed to survive by concealing themselves beneath the bodies of those who fell victim to the assault. Lee Sasi was among the 3,000 attendees, mostly young Israelis, at the rave when the attack occurred on a Saturday morning. As the sound of gunfire filled the air, festival participants fled for safety, seeking refuge in nearby orchards. Approximately 35 individuals, including Sasi, had initially taken shelter in a bomb shelter. However, they were discovered by Hamas militants, who indiscriminately fired into the bunker.

Sasi recounted in messages to a friend that she was one of the ten people who endured the harrowing ordeal by remaining hidden under the lifeless bodies for several hours. Disturbing video footage captures individuals crowded into a confined space, with some seeking cover beneath the deceased. In her messages, Sasi informed her friend that there were initially between 30 and 35 people in the bomb shelter, but when they were finally rescued seven hours later, only ten had survived.
