UK: Muslim attacks man burning Qur’an by spitting on him, kicking, and stabbing him

A man who was allegedly filmed burning the Quran outside the Turkish Consulate in central London was attacked by a passerby armed with a knife.

Dramatic footage shows a suspect wearing a hood and carrying a rucksack, holding a large burning book.

The video, shared online, then cuts to the man lying on the road as another individual kicks and spits at him after seizing the burning item.

The second suspect appears to draw a knife and slash the man while he lies sprawled on the ground near the building’s barriers in Rutland Gardens, Knightsbridge, on Thursday afternoon.

A user on X, formerly Twitter, claimed responsibility for the act, stating that it had been pre-planned.

He alleged: “While I was burning the Quran, I was attacked with a knife.”
