White House states that PM Modi's visit will strengthen the strong partnership between India and U.S

According to a statement from the White House on June 7, the upcoming Official State visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the United States will serve as a confirmation of the strong and close alliance between the two nations, as well as the warm familial and friendship ties that connect the American and Indian people.

In June, Prime Minister Modi will embark on his inaugural state visit to the U.S., having been invited by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. On June 22, President Biden and the First Lady will also host Mr. Modi at a state dinner. During her daily news conference, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre explained that the visit will further strengthen the partnership between the United States and India, focusing on their shared commitment to a free, open, prosperous, and secure Indo-Pacific region. The discussions will also include plans to enhance the strategic technology partnership between the two countries, covering areas such as defense, clean energy, and space.
